The world of Westminster - and those who earn their corn endlessly speculating about Parliamentary fisticuffs - forget that politics is a multi-layered world. And for many people it's what goes on locally which is really important. That's the real significance of the Lib-Dems, for instance. They are brilliant at pot-hole politics and rule great chunks of local government as a result. But their national offering is too wishy-washy and contradictory to gain real traction nationally.
Word of moth, something of the night about that recommendation vehicle Matt😁
I hope the Lib Dem’s don’t get another sniff of a coalition at the next election, they’re mediocre at best and will make demands like wanting proportional representation which is a slippery slope to radical minority government of the sort letting loose its vicious agenda in Gaza right now.
I don't know what the sub-stack equivalent of the desperation klaxon is but maybe you should sound it. I have just broken my own rules and shared details of the Newcastle gig on our community facebook page even though it is 60 miles away; I'm not sure your demographic is the Instagram generation. (It wasn't easy to share, but then I'm not the social media generation.)
I would tell my friends but they all live in Yorkshire..........
I, however, am willing to travel to Newcastle.
Excellent!
